The Debate Over The True Religious Affiliation Of President Obama Continues To Flare
A recent Pew Research poll, conducted prior to President Obama's speech supporting the construction of the Ground Zero mosque, indicated that one in five Americans believes that the President is in fact a member of the Muslim faith, not Christian as has always asserted. In total, close to 50% are not sure.

If memory serves, the speech on the economy that the President gave in April of 2009 at Georgetown University, when the White House requested that a monogram representing the name of Jesus be covered up, did not help to end the confusion. In fact it only served to stir the debate.
Perhaps nothing will end the "controversy" surrounding the President, particularly when his opinion regarding construction of Cordoba House on property mere feet from Ground Zero was made crystal clear.
