Follow-up To The Column Times Square Bombing: The Tea Party movement was involved
I wrote this morning about the fact that the White House, as well as the main stream media, was quick to suggest that the attempt to explode a bomb in Times Square was the responsibility of a lone-wolf domestic crazy. Possibly a disgruntled American or maybe even a member of the "radical" and "right-wing" Tea Party movement.
This from Contessa Brewer of MSNBC, on the fact that an Islamic terrorist was behind the bombing attempt:
"I mean the thing is is that and I get frustrated and there was part of me that was hoping this was not going to be anybody with ties to any kind of Islamic country because there are a lot of people who want to use this terrorist intent to justify writing off people who believe in a certain way or come from certain countries or whose skin color is a certain way. I mean they use it as justification for really outdated bigotry.
And so there was part of me was really hoping this would not be the case that here would be somebody who is not the defined. I mean he’s accused he’s arrested you know I don’t want to convict him before it’s time to do so. He’s the guy authorities say is involved. But that being said I mean we know even in recent history you have the Hutaree militia from Michigan who have plans to let’s face it create terror.
That’s what they were planning to do and they were doing so from far different backgrounds then what this guy is coming from. So, the threat is not just coming from people who decide that America is the place to be and you know come here and want to become citizens. Obviously this guy did."
Her point, in the perfect example of bigotry, is that all who do not blindly follow the White House and Democrat party are somehow interchangeable with violent militia groups. Tea Party, conservatives or domestic terrorists in her view, and the view of many in the media, are one in the same.

and we're still waiting for a citation that shows the white house/obama ever said that.
This WOMAN makes me want to scream. She is the type that supports SHARIA as an empowerment to WOMEN.
She is a FEMA-Nazi. Shes the type that if you are a guy, you should stay away from.
This woman is a NEWS person?

you could have wrote this (or a similar) blog the day after the bomb attempt, but you didn't...you know why you didn't? Because you and I both know there was a 50-50 chance it was a white guy and militia associated...you were in fact quick to push off the blame away from any whites before you knew ANYTHING about who was to blame: "Although the motives of this man are not yet known, this type of bomb has been used in the past by Islamic militants, and in 2007 al-Qaeda began using propane in car bombs in Iraq."
"...Her point (Contessa), in the perfect example of bigotry,..."
so is yours.
and still waiting for evidence of haltman's claims about obama statements... waiting....waiting...
guess he's just lying.
