Ellen Cannon, Ph.D. is a professor of political science and public policy for more than thirty years at Northeastern Illinois University. Her expertise in terrorism and disaster/terrorist management has made her a much sought after lectuerer on university campuses,National Homeland Security Summits, national organizations,corporations, and local institutions. Her research on physician preparedness and innovations in hospital preparedness has resulted in her making significant contributions to the academic field of terrorist management. Dr. Cannon appears regularly on radio and television including CNN, MSNBC, WBEZ, WCBS, WMAQ, WLS,and PBS.She regulalry speaks throughout the United States and Canada on terrorism, terrorist management, politics and religion, and terrorism and global affairs.
