Store's don't seem to carry it, or if they did, it's not being restocked, and I'm about out of the original ottle I bought last summer
Tom, I'm not Milford Spice, but here are a couple of links to try.

"When buying for your family or your friends, spend your Michigan dollars in Michigan."
All the spices are not grown in Michigan. Many of them are from other places. Ultimately they get our dollars. It does not stay in Michigan.
Same applies to cars. "Be American, buy American" - most of the parts used in American cars are imported or supplied by foreign companies
It is neither possible nor economical to grow everything here in Michigan. We don't have the right climate or growing season for many of the items that we enjoy year round. You would have a pretty narrow diet if you only ate things that were grown locally, but if that's what you choose, good for you. The spices are processed and ground here in Michigan... why not support people that are working hard to grow a small business that employs local people?
"why not support people that are working hard to grow a small business that employs local people"
Kroger employs local people. Local handicapped people at that. And Curry isn't $4 per oz. Organic? Have you seen the list of chemicals that can be used and still call something "organic"? Organic is a farce based on a threat that adds a lot of cost with little benefit. Just sayin...
Other than pine needles, how many spices do you grow in Michigan?
I have been cooking with your spices for a few weeks (I cook every day) and I was glad that you had some spices that are hard to find. Great containers for keeping them as fresh as possible. Very timely shipping also. Will be buying more.
I sent an order two weeks ago, and aside from an automatic order confirmation, I have received no communication and no product. I'm hoping this is not the norm. I've ordered and received products from overseas faster.
Don't bet on it. I placed an order 5 weeks ago and only today did I receive confirmation that it had been shipped. I contacted the company twice and was not happy with their service. There's no way their product is worth this kind of wait. I definitely would NOT purchase online from them again.
I purchased spices in February and was billed incorrectly, which was supposed to be corrected that same day in February. I have trying to reach Milford Spice Co, via phone and email since with no response. Althoughth the spices are good, the customer servie and comminication as terrible.
My order finally arrived, almost 4 weeks after I placed it. In between, there was no reply to two emails and one phone message (and I live nearby, so it wouldn't even be a long-distance call). This is the worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. You'd think a new company would be more concerned with pleasing their customers to build a good reputation. This is my first and last purchase. Too bad.
As many of my friends and family know, my wife and I love to support Michigan small businesses, especially local grown and/or packaged.
Recently, we were inclined to try a Groupon coupon/voucher for Milford Spice.
We ended up with two vouchers.
Laura at Milford Spice took my call regarding combining vouchers. She honored the two vouchers for combined shipping....sweet...8-)
However, when I put the order in, online, and then had to call to submit payment, (special circumstances/combined shipping) it took better than a week and several emails and phone calls to make contact.....8-(
I was finally contacted by Laura, with sincere apologies, and she called back the next day and took my payment, the end of March....with assurances it would ship asap.(Noted that custom blends take up to 14 days)
Its April 27th and no order....8-(
(continued)
Since April 21, thinking there might be a mis-delivered package or lost shipment, I tried to make contact via Laura@milfordspice.com and through their 800 number. I have left several requests for package tracking requests, to no avail.....8-(
I rarely use this forum to share my issues, but I believe the leverage of current media puts power in the hands of the consumer.
As many of you know, I love to cook and I am VERY comfortable in the kitchen and not shy to mix flavors and try new spices. So Michigan based Milford Spice Co. was a logical merchant to do business with.
I guess I am wrong.
If you have had different results with Milford Spice, let me know by posting on Milford Spice's Facebook page.
As consumers we have leverage with social media and sites like these.
We can get the attention of businesses that are not performing as they promise....
SPEAK OUT!!!!!!!
This just ridiculous I am in the same boat as you all with this spice crap. No numbers I have called ever get picked up although I have reached the phone mail system which was said to be filled up. Then later not filled so someone is checking their messages and for my order I ordered 4/19/011 and was charged $90 on my credit card and still no tracking number or email. This company seems like its collecting money from its mass market groupon scam by posting in 45 cities all across the USA I'M going to contact groupon but there's really nothing else I can do except maybe file a claim with the better business bureau.
After calling the number I have received a call back saying your order should arrive in ten to 12 business days not counting staurday or sunday. Comes by US postal service. So I will be back on here 10 to 12 days from 4/19/11.
Placed 2 orders on 3/22/11. One was finally received the first week of May but the other is nowhere to be found Emails not returned and can't leave message - voice mail full.
Very very poor customer service - placed an order over 6 weeks, no where to be found. They are not reachable by email or phone. Please avoid at all costs.
I have also had a problem with this company. Place an order around April 19th, emailed them twice tried to call them also (cue cricket sounds) I used the groupon and also $30 worth of other spices. If this coupon was to generate business good luck. If I ever receive my order I will never order anything from them again. I even posted on their facebook wall that they did do something about. They deleted the complaint. Horrible customer service at that spice company. Groupon with so many complaints something should be done about this.
Bought a groupon, ordered the spices so that I could have them for Mother's day, and over 2 MONTHS later I still have not received my order or any other information. AWFUL service, its a miracle theyre still in business.
just google her company, there have been MANY ripoff reports written. I ordered almost 3 months ago and still no spices. Did recieve an email from Laura tho saying how she is backed up and is losing money on every order! REALLY? how do you lose money when you dont ship anyone their product? Seems like thats a CASH COW!!
She should be arrested! How do you steal from 10's or 100's customers and get away with it? I filed a claim with the BBB in MI. Hoping to hear back!
