Sweet Seasons Orchard is located at 15787 Allman Road which is west of Concord between Van Wert and Mann Roads. Ed and Nan Jasinowski are the proprietors, along with lots of family to help out.
They have expanded their crop offerings and their selling locations. You can see their produce at the farmers market in Jackson, their farm stand on Allman Road, City Market in Lansing, and now in a new store front in St. Joseph.
There were great things to choose from at a recent market day in Jackson. Along side the fresh farm grown vegetables, there were baked goods from their commercial kitchen, pop corn in a variety of flavors (be sure to try the Chicago Style version), dried beans from select Michigan growers, and a great selection of their jams, butters, and jellies. The downtown Jackson farmers market is open from 6 am until 3 pm on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at Kuhl's Belltower located at 117-119 Louis Glick with lots of onsite parking.

The new store in St. Joseph is at 319 State Street and offers fruit, nut butters, mini melts ice cream, jams/jellies, baked goods, pastas, cider (in season), nuts/seeds snacks, soup mixes, popcorn, and more. Later in the season, you will find apples, pears, plums, peaches, grapes, pumpkins, winter squash and Indian corn at their orchard location. Starting in September (depending on the weather), Sweet Seasons Orchard is a destination for fresh apple cider, fresh picked apples, caramel apples, and fresh baked donuts, pies, and cookies. The orchards include 30 varieties of apples. Later in the fall, you will want to take a look at their Christmas trees. The orchard location is open daily through Christmas eve from 10 am until 6 pm.
