How do you think starting a business with AVON can benefit others in the Nashville Area? It gives women and men the opportunity to purchase great products at a great price.
What in your opinion is the best way to market this type of businesses in the Nashville Area? Well, I am still working on this for myself ... word of mouth is always good, but any inexpensive advertising would be good .
What do you enjoy most about running your own business? The opportunity to meet new people is what I like most about this business.

Back when I sold Avon products, the men in our district by far outsold the women. I suspected this was because women tended to believe men when they told them they looked good in something. I tended to buy more than I sold ... it fed my addiction too well. Avon is a great product, though, and it really sells itself. It does what it says it does, and it's really affordable.
When I was young my mother sold Avon and did rather well with it. She at one point was a regional rep. and they gave her everything she needed, short of a car. We even got a VCR from them and at the time VCRs were still very new and expensive...
I really like their "Speak out against domestic violence" campaign. I'm wearing the bracelet right now.
My son has been thinking about selling Avon to supplement his income. His hours at the restaurant keep getting cut and he's headed back to college in a couple of weeks. I think I shall forward this article to him.
