The holiday's are approaching faster than we can even blink it seems. This tends to become a very busy time for everyone. Most companies have or are transitioning to their new fall/winter lines of products, there are end of summer clearance sales going on and more.
So what is the best way to "gear up" for that holiday business? Well getting prepared is the tricky part because most of the time we are not as prepared as we should be. Be sure you have all your new catalogs and flyers ready to hand out. You also want to be sure you have taken a look and gotten to know the new products that your company is offering.
This is a great time to start promoting Christmas shopping. People want to shop early so they can avoid crowds and high prices. Now is the time for Party Plan people to start booking parties and encourage those customers to try and earn their Christmas gift free by hosting a party.
Now is the time of year for you to really shine through with your business. Promote holiday sales and special holiday products. Pick a new product each week to promote as a featured holiday gift item, or offer special discounts if people shop with you before a certain date or something to that effect.
