Kitchen-related Party Sales: Tupperware and Pampered Chef

Kitchen-related party sales are big business

Almost everyone loves home parties, even the kind that are primarily for selling stuff. One of the most popular categories is that of kitchen items. The two best known would certainly be Tupperware and Pampered Chef.

Tupperware has been around for a while. Quite possibly the first home party that anyone ever went to, Tupperware has been the standard of kitchen storage for generations. Their products are sturdy—they have a lifetime warranty. They are trendy—they usually come in the latest kitchen design colors. And the opportunity is satisfying and rewarding.

The rewards of selling Tupperware are not much different from those of other home party sales businesses. These include a flexible schedule, a good income for the time worked, a great chance to meet new people and have fun at work. And don’t forget the perks. An independent Tupperware business owner will be able to fill his or her kitchen with the newest storage items for a fraction of the cost. Some of these will even be free if they are won as a bonus or if they are originally used as display items.

Tupperware may be one of the better opportunities simply because everyone knows the name. Then again, everyone probably already knows someone else who is selling it. So do your research, if your market is saturated, then look into something else.

If you want to stay with kitchen items, another great business is Pampered Chef. These parties are popular not only because of the quality of items, but also because most parties include demonstrations…which means there will be goodies! Even if someone isn’t interested in purchasing any products, they will often attend simply for the shared recipes.

The rewards are similar to Tupperware, and include products that you purchase at a discount or as part of a kit, which will later be yours to keep. According to the Pampered Chef website, an average show has sales of $450. For any consultant who manages to have sales at this level, their earning potential will be enormous.

As with all businesses in this field, the best way to start with either Tupperware or Pampered Chef is by hosting a party of your own. Then you will see how it’s done first hand, earn some bonus items through the sales at your party, and establish a good relationship with the person you sign up under.
