Obviously, NBA-Hall-of-Famer Calvin Murphy didn't get the memo of "deny, deny, deny" as he appeared on ESPN Radio in Houston, TX today, and confirmed the shocking rumor LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Delonte West did in fact, have a sexual relationship with King James' mother - Gloria James. Murphy simply stated, "It ain't no rumor." Come on, Calvin.
Just yesterday, LeBron's attorney sent a cease and desist letter to the original website that posted the shocking allegation, but Murphy says the story is "absolutely true." His inside sources are "legit" and apparently, more than one player is involved.
As previously reported, Frederick Nance, attorney for LeBron and Gloria James, addressed the accusations by saying the claims are "categorically false and per se defamatory."
According to TMZ.com, Nance sent a cease and desist letter to sports blog TerezOwens.com -the first site to publish the story- and stated in an email, "No thinking person could possibly believe such rubbish." Murphy also said James is "taking time off", despite rumors he's heading to either the Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks next season. Calvin sure has a lot to say, doesn't he?

Sounds to me like just another ploy by someone or possibly an opposing team, to get LBJ to leave Cleveland.
Murphy is confirmed to have fathered 14 children by 9 different women.[4] In 2005, he faced trial in Houston for sexually abusing 5 of his daughters.

deadspin has a good article on this called "the anatomy of a rumor." The same phrases are used in emails coming from supposedly different people with "high level inside sources." Looks more like some d-bag just sent a massive amount of slightly different emails over the internet and perezhilton.com picked it up. Also, if an idiot like Calvin Murphy confirmed it than it has to be false.
Gloria James apparently is 42 years old. Delonte West will be 27 this summer. As noted, they are two adults. Still, if this is happening, the thought must be shocking to Gloria's son, Lebron. More so because West is a teammate.
Not the first time a male athlete has had to deal with the issue of his mother having a relationship with a younger male athlete.
Calvin Murphy is obviously a "Sexual Predator" 5/14 of his own daughters were raped by him??? Of course he would beleive it, he would do it so his sick pattern of thinking has him beleiving he has the inside scoop on what went down? Who was the other player involved you Calvin or was it Lebron himself?
