Michael Jackson News Update!

Michael Jackson's youngest brother Randy Jackson is speaking out about his brother's death and his family's personal faith in the U.S. justice system.

Jackson said Monday June 21, 2010 that his family is disappointed in a recent ruling allowing a doctor charged in the pop singer's death to keep his medical license. However, he says the family still has faith in the judicial process.

In recent weeks, father Joe Jackson came out and blamed mother Katherine Jackson for failing to prevent their son's death.

Katherine Jackson countered with a statement that the death of her son has caused the family to grow much closer this past year.

Randy Jackson's written statement issued through the Associated Press came a week after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled he didn't have the authority to suspend the license of Dr. Conrad Murray.

Dr. Conrad Murray faces an involuntary manslaughter charge in pop singer Michael Jackson's death -- a tragic and unexpected event that happened nearly a year ago.

Murray, a cardiologist, has pleaded not guilty to the charge of killing the iconic green celebrity.

"The recent court proceedings have been difficult for us as a family," Randy Jackson wrote. "However, it is a necessary process that we are well prepared to endure in our fight for justice for Michael."

The statement also said the family of Michael Jackson was disappointed in the ruling, but expressed support for the California Attorney General's office, which sought to suspend Murray's medical license until his court case is decided.

According to AP,

Randy Jackson had to be hospitalized after experiencing chest pains the day after last week's court hearing, and he thanked doctors and fans for their support.

"I am feeling much better, invigorated and spiritually strong," he wrote. His statement did not address what doctors had determined happened to him.

Randy Jackson accompanied his mother and father and siblings LaToya and Jermaine Jackson to last week's court hearing. The Jackson family has shown up to all court hearings in Murray's case.

Michael Jackson's will is rumored to have left everything to his celebrity children -- not his family.

The relatives have been criticized for financially profiting from their beloved brother's death by using the untimely end of his life to keep their own names in the press.

Katherine Jackson has legal guardianship of the dead celebrity's children. All the best goes out to them through the difficult family crisis of having lost their father and the media frenzy over whether or not Murray is responsible for the death of her father.
