World Medical Health Tourism Conference 2009 ~ Phuket, Thailand
The World Medical Health Tourism Conference 2009 will be held in Phuket, Thailand on September 16-18, 2009 to be attended by 1200 health care industry leaders and exhibitors from around the world. The conference is the largest medical tourism event in 2009, providing a forum for networking among professionals working in hospitals, insurance companies, medical and health care practice, and medical tourism operators.
The conference will be held in the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, located on 75 acres of tropical gardens in the heart of Karon Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on Phuket’s west coast overlooking the emerald green sea.
Speakers from Australia, USA, West Indies, Thailand and India are presenting at the conference. In attending 75% of the conference’s workshops and keynote sessions (topics of your choice), participants are assured receipt of a certificate of completion to serve as proof for tax deduction.

I can't agree that Karon Beach is the Best in Phuket, it has a road running parallel to the beach buzzing with traffic, it has high rise ugly buildings, the beach is definitely not safe in the Summer Season, a 16 year old drowned last week and I think about 6 people have drowned this season in the surf off Karon Beach so far, sorry to disagree, there are much nicer places.
