The 3rd Annual World Fairy Festival which promotes respect for animals and the environment was hosted on May 1, 2010 by Angel Therapy Practitioners and Angel Intuitives worldwide. Several practitioners conducted workshops on eco-friendly living, while others led seminars on healing with the fairies. Others hosted awareness gatherings on the existence of fairies and what could people do to take care of the plants and animals in their environment.

Ten of the 50 states in the United States hosted fairy workshops and play days in California, New Mexico, Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and Washington. Other countries involved were Australia, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, United Kingdom and Japan.  Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to local environmental and children's charities.  May 1, 2010 was also May Day and the Feast of Beltane, special traditions observed by Neopagans who also believe in the existence of fairies.

Fairies are known to be nature's angels who take care of the environment.  They protect the air, water, land, plants and animals. The aim of the World Fairy Festival was to educate people about the reality of fairies, and to learn from their important lessons of having fun and playing as being vital to health and happiness.

Orbs are thought to be of angels and fairies, and they both appear in photos having discernible faces.  Angel orbs are known to be larger circles of varying colors, with colored ones belonging to archangels.  Smaller orbs are known to be fairies, and they are mostly seen in nature or at joyful gatherings.

Watch 2:24 min to 2:27 min, with close up at 2:27 min to 2:33 min.  Renee Ann Smith took a picture of a 2-feet high potted plant that looked like a fairy in pictures.

It seems that I love all things that fly. Fairies, angels, butterflies, balloons, and planes.

Two causes near and dear to my heart are animals and environment. Glad to hear that fairys are doing so much for them.

Anything peaceful to promote animals and the environment sounds good to me.
