Nikola Tesla at East Houston St. New York
Nikola Tesla is the man responsible for every form of modern technology we have available to us today. There would be no Twittering, Googling, BlackBerrys, cell phones, satellites in space, airplanes, x-rays, or physics as we know it.
Did anyone remember Nikola Tesla on his birthday today?
Nicolas Tesla was born on July 9th, 1856 at Midnight.
One man certainly remembered Nikola Tesla this week, Dr. Ljubo Vujovic. Dr. Vujovic is nominated this year to receive the American Biographical Institute, Inc. Award: "2009 Man of the Year in Education" for his work as President and Editor of the Tesla Memorial Society of New York website, which is one of the main sources of information about the famous inventor and scientist Nikola Tesla as well as other world figures in history.
It’s fascinating that Tesla has more notoriety for the lack of attribution given him than all his works combined. Though great efforts have been made by scholars all over the world, to finally give recognition to the genius and contributions of this great man; there still remains an air of mystery surrounding his life and works.
Many consider that the most obvious of reasons was that his inventions were way too progressive for the technical resources available and much too far advanced for humanity’s collective psyche at the time. Many theories point to his lack of business sense and his failed project with J.P. Morgan while building the "The Tower of Dreams,” The Tower of Dreams was to be a World Broadcasting Tower in Long Island that would have broadcast telephone messages across the ocean; news, music, stock market reports, private messages, secure military communications, and even pictures to any part of the world. But funding ran out in the middle of the project and other more insidious circumstances prevailed at the end.
Tesla told Morgan, "When wireless is fully applied, the earth will be converted into a huge brain, capable of response in every one of its parts."
Tesla obviously predicted the birth of the Internet and our computers. In 1937, he said, “At this very moment scientists working in the laboratories of American universities are attempting to create what has been described as a "thinking machine." I anticipated this development.”
He also invented our future wireless boxes at the turn of the century.

Teleautomaton
The Teleautomaton, was a device Tesla invented in the 1890’s. It has a spooky resemblance to our wireless internet connection boxes that make it possible for us to sit in places like Starbucks and drink coffee while type on our laptops. Wireless makes it possible for us to talk on our cell phones, fly our airplanes, watch our reality TV, and listen to our radios while waiting in traffic.
The Teleautomaton was simply an apparatus with Tesla coils. These coils, in the initial experiment were inserted into a boat and tuned to resonate with other coils located on shore. By tuning the coils, an operator on shore could remotely control the boat.
His resonance experiments at one point got a little out of hand even here in New York.
"In his lab at 46 E. Houston Street, while conducting mechanical resonance experiments with electro-mechanical oscillators, he generated a resonance of several surrounding buildings but, due to the frequencies involved, not his own building, causing complaints to the police. As the speed grew he hit the resonant frequency of his own building and, belatedly realizing the danger, he was forced to apply a sledgehammer to terminate the experiment, just as the astonished police arrived. (Wikipedia: O'Neill, "Prodigal Genius" pp 162-164).
It was probably experiments like those that got Tesla branded as a mad scientist. He has been accredited with experiments in time-travel, alien communication, and machines that record thought among many others. His later experiments in accessing “free energy” most likely got him in even more disfavor. Generally, not being able to “bill” energy, wouldn't have gone over too well with the “the powers that be.”
We tend to attribute “genius” to spiritual force or a gift from the Divine Spirit. Though Tesla had no gripe with religion, he said, “Religion gave man “ideals” that give significance to his life and most importantly promoted “good conduct,” he surprisingly (though associated with occult activities and so forth), had purely mechanistic views of mankind.
“To me, the universe is simply a great machine which never came into being and never will end. The human being is no exception to the natural order. Man, like the universe, is a machine. Nothing enters our minds or determines our actions which is not directly or indirectly a response to stimuli beating upon our sense organs from without. Owing to the similarity of our construction and the sameness of our environment, we respond in like manner to similar stimuli, and from the concordance of our reactions, understanding is barn. In the course of ages, mechanisms of infinite complexity are developed, but what we call "soul” or "spirit," is nothing more than the sum of the functionings of the body. When this functioning ceases, the "soul" or the "spirit" ceases likewise.” (Source)
Most of us consider Tesla a visionary before his time; but surprisingly Tesla says in his own words:
“My enemies have been so successful in portraying me as a poet and a visionary," said Tesla, "that I must put out something commercial without delay." (Source)
Was he joking? Was he truly a pure scientist? Would his experiments eventually lead him to harnessing spiritual force? Would Tesla have found the “God” particle?
The bottom-line is Tesla certainly bridged the gap between science and spirit; whether he acknowledged this or not.
Maybe he didn’t believe in life-after-death, but his inventions surely have kept him very much alive-after-death.

With very minor modifications, the power generation and distribution industry remains in the same way that Tesla designed. The voltage levels, the frequencies of generation and so forth all these were optimized and determined by him. To see how ignorant our modern electrical engineers are just pose the question to them on how to transmit a signal from point A to point B using a single wire and watch them flounder. The truism that Telsa 'invented' the 20th century can best be seen if one were to switch off the power generation plants across the world. And that is not taking into account of his other technologies that are still concealed from the public and classified. The Genius of Tesla is difficult to be rivaled.
Nice to remember Tesla. Truly, most of us probably wouldn't be even alive without his inventions. How so?
What would happen to mankind without transmission and generation of AC, wireless and number of his other inventions? Where would productivity be? How many wars would be fought because of the lack of things he contrived so far ahead of his time.
We take his work for granted today, because all the utilities we have 'have been around forever'.
They have not. Tesla made them for us, and if he didn't it's unlikely someone else would for a very long time. That's how far ahead he was.
AC generators/motors/distribution-networks, radio, binary code, radar ..., wireless energy? free (ZPE) energy? electro-gravity?
I wonder why the education system has cut Tesla out of the history books.
Hello Koen
<< I wonder why the education system has cut Tesla out of the history books. >>
perharps on religious grounds for 2 reasons.
1. he were not a jew
2. he were of the wrong christian church - the orthodox church.
the quote about resonant frequencies and buildings is preposterous. what, you think there is a special frequency or combination that will shake anything apart ? resonant response isn't just a matter of frequency, the "quality" or lack of daming, as well as "sharpness" of the resonant response are key factors. a building will not have either of these. i suppose you can't blame tesla, it's not as though he is the source of this story. but it shows how people are willing to build something up without any understanding. people want to build up tesla into a monumental genius, but they don't understand why he is supposedly so -- as the repetition of the above "resonance" annecdote shows. people, don't do this, don't mindlessly follow the herd and give into whatever human urge it is to find messiah-like figures. if you don't understand something, admit it. i myself haven't seen evidence tesla was a monumental genius.
His work has paved the way for the most modern communications used in the military today
and much more.
His vision was free energy not bussiness
doubting thomas
singers do not need any knowledge of resonance to shatter wine glasses with their pitch yet they still do shatter the glasses to pieces. part of the reason to Tesla's social exclusiveness stemmed from the doubting thomases of his time who thought he was crazy, but settled instead on the term 'eccentric'. evidence or not the resonant tremors caused by him were an historical fact as were the recurrring police visits to his lab. how much doubtful would you be then if you consider his claim, not threat. that using resonant power he can slice the earth in 2 parts just like an apple. and people in the know took that seriously. if resonant frequency was not a common occurence then soldiers would not be asked to break pace in the vicinity of bridges. there are many who defame and suppress Tesla's technologies because he meant to 'gift' his devices to mankind as peace offering. he even offered to ionize the night sky and banish darkness forever if the world powers were to..
refrain from starting WWI. it is by no means a way of humbling oneself by praising another and by all standards Tesla WAS a superman.
Wow.. Thomas. If you consider Edison or Franklin geniuses then you must certainly place Tesla no lower than they.
tesla was cut out of the books and our history because his work was stolen by Scherf and sold to the military where it has spawned all that we do not see or can not dream of today. The TR3B as just one example.
My dear Thomas, I think you will find that the engineers and builders of the 1,000,000 ton Toll oil platform would dissagree with you. They spent tens of millions countering the resonance in the massive concrete legs that the platform was construcrted on. They described the legs as guitar strings that would resonate to the point of completely shattering if dampening measures were not included in the construction and design.
Ignorance is no excuse for stupidity or arrogance thomas. This is an ignorance free zone, park elsewhere doubting thomas.
Tesla was a true genius of the 20TH century. Who knows where we could be today if he was allowed to continue his work. His work was stolen and suppressed. He did not run out funding as we are led to believe, JP Morgan and his elite banker buddies realized that they could not meter his free energy so they cut off his funding. No profit = No free energy.
If someone comes with different thoughts in future we should let them become themselves and encourage them. The treatment Tesla got inhibited the human race - genius is never understood in it's own time.
So where are all Tesla's inventions and patents that were seized by the American Government shortly after his death?? one would like to know, and for them to be used for the benefit of mankind..
Tesla was no doubt one of the greatest inventors of all time, but to say that "Nikola Tesla is the man responsible for every form of modern technology we have available to us today
" is totally silly. As an electronics engineer and electro-mechanical inventor (decades) I can say this with certainty. There is no need for silly, mindless aggrandizement in order to give credit to a very great man. It only sullies his true reputation, if anything.
The Genius of Nikola Tesla was light years ahead of Einstein, Bell, Edison, etc., and is for an evil reason forgotten.
Others are elevated above him to keep HIS GENIUS almost totally hidden.
In my opinion, Tesla had ET genes in his bodily system of existance.

For those who doubt he was a genius should perhaps remind themselves that this man ushered in many new, world changing electrical technologies: I doubt that the doubters of his Genius would hold the same view if they were to live in Tesla's time to see his brilliant ideas born for the first time.
Why don't you dig up his corpse and blow him. While you're at it take a DNA sample and make endless clones of him so that the world can be even greater than it is now. Maybe their inventions can help the population of the world swell untill it bursts. Or maybe one of the Tesla clones will finally create a true doomsday device to end the world. Oh happy joy, Tesla, Tesla, he's our man, if he can't do it, nobody can!

Rebel . . . You have the IQ of a rancid piece of head cheese. Thanks for reminding us that complete morons are allowed to access the internet.
Aziz, you are right. You have to be a Jew to be recognized. Tesla was the man for humanity but they use his idea tomake an Electric Chair for Free Energy. Thats the only Free Energy you can take. Tell me what Einstein did? an A bomb? to kill more people than Hitler and Stalin combined. Edison was an arrogant and idiot. Everything is invented on this face of the Earth is used against humanity, including computers that store everything about us.
Tesla is an et try to help the earth to advance into the future.
Tesla was too far ahead of his time for the elites who like to ration technological advances. If he had been given his head and the funding we would probably have wireless and virtually free power now at any point on the planet, and many other things.
As it is we have oil companies starting illegal wars and global warming due to burning fossil fuels, rather than pulling power from the ether, as Tesla proved was possible.
We remember Eddison though, who was a plagiarist. That is no accident.
As a scientist for 40 years I realize that major technical developments are eventually used for war. As world population increases and resources decrease, conflict will increase. Tesla's inventions would have simply increased the rate of human destruction. Only a relatively small number of humans are capable of using science to properly advance civilization. The rest are destructive greedy animals of various types and will misuse any technical advances for wealth and power.
Geez the death ray (scary) The wyndorf tower (threat to oil) The cell phone (time to put him out) Thats what Fed pigs said Im sure.
I think he was representative of what humans were perfectly capable of achieving at the time, (granted he was a brilliant man, but after all, created by the same God (or force) that created all,) and even today, but only if public information is widely available, and truths are accepted as such, and not twisted due to some ill achieved personal agenda of some selfish individual. In other words, are current perception of truth and what the truth really is, is fed to us en mass. So, not until we reawaken to what it is to just survive, will we be free again to think for ourselves, once again as a specie. We have been brainwashed, and what we need now is deprogramming. But more programming is what we are getting and increasing exponentially. So, just think for yourself, and all of the Tesla technology could just become mainstream reality now, after all of those years (when his knowledge was kept secret from mankind).
One Red Pill: I am fine with myself and my superior IQ. My blanket comment was for those who worship dead inventors. And you might want to take a look in the mirror and find out who the "moron" is. Your words convict you.
So, Rebel. What have you accomplished so far in life? It is one thing to recognize that untruths masquerade as knowledge and wisdom. It is something else to figure out what is true and live according to that. Certainly, to do so is a genuine service to humanity. In the meantime, there are millions of rebels who die having done nothing more than rebel. Which are you?

1985 article in OMNI magazine went into incredible detail about his experiments and his visions. One project Tesla envisioned (amongst many) was to illuminate the worlds oceans as an aquarium being able to see directly to the seabed of any ocean....
This information that I found to have been quietly concealed, led me to discover soon after that many other hidden and forbidden technologies that have been suppressed in our society.
I credit Teslas work directly with awakening my human soul and consciousness and openly realising the modern enslavement people live under today in our "free" societies.
Help bring Tesla's most important work to reality....charging the Ionosphere and ending the energy industry in total.

Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles has a functioning Tesla coil. Everyone should go and see it. It's free!
I agree with In Ventor, there is more hype and rumor surrounding Tesla than reality. The Mythbusters have demolished the various claims about Tesla's "building destroyer," and it's purile and counterproductive to exaggerate Tesla's many REAL accomplishments by accrediting him with those that weren't: and it's non-sequitur to compare the Teleautomaton with a wireless connection, which is more accreditable to Marconi than Tesla.
As for Marconi vs Tesla, the record shows (both in patents issued and in public demonstrations) that Tesla was clearly the inventor of modern radio. The Supreme Court even ruled in Tesla's favor against Marconi.
Also, even most computer whizs do not know that Tesla patented the first electronic logic gate. I believe it was a NAND gate.
No doubt about it, Tesla was extraordinarily responsible for a HUGE chunk of today's technology. We can be equally certain that Tesla was NOT a prudent and crafty businessman -- and hence never received the public acclaim that accompanied Marconi and others.
Tesla is history now,u should agree with his great ideas which r reality now, respect iz everything he deserve, don't waste ur time in his past, where u stand in present if u still fight for past, respect past work in present and ur future will be history!
Tesla was a remarkable man who did a great deal to further actual science (never mind flights of fancy involving free energy and vast conspiracies). I wish more of the commenters here would focus on his real acheivements (many of which are wrongly attributed to others in no small part due to the rivalry he and Edison had that was quite frankly down right hate filled) instead of the conspiarcy theories. Unexplained I weep for you're desire to ignore the past. So much of what exists today and what will exist in the future is rooted in what was. If you want to understand where we're going you have to understand where we've been and who got us to where we are.
