Spring is a time for renewal, fresh starts and rebirth. If you are feeling sluggish and out of sorts, now is the time to change that. Feng Shui is the Chinese system of creating energetic harmony in your environment to affect your health and happiness. With the use of just these few Feng Shui basics you can experience great change.
By cleaning out the clutter, adding some natural elements to your home and eliminating toxins, you can have renewed energy and be happier and healthier in no time.
- If it’s not serving you, maybe it will serve someone else. Go through your things and if you don’t love it or if it doesn’t have sentimental value, or if you haven’t worn it, or used it in the past 12 months, get rid of it. Recycle by donating it or having a garage sale.
- Bring elements of nature inside. Place plants around your home. Plants give off oxygen for fresher air. Breathing fresh air is a foundation for good health. Place a water fountain in a room for calm, soothing sound.
- Get rid of harsh, toxic chemicals. Go through the cleaning supplies in your kitchen, supply closet and garage. Throw out all of the toxic, chemical based cleaners and replace them with natural, eco-friendly products.
“Our inner and outer worlds are reflections of one another. So, when we change our environment, we change.” says local Feng Shui expert, Mary Mieth. “There is great power when we add the power of intention to create conscious change in our environment.”
