"Abundance" has become a buzzword, made popular by The Secret. The Law of Abundance and the attraction of abundance is a topic many people are interested in learning how to utilize. Elena Camp is an abundance coach who graciously agreed to share her insight about her business which offers abundance coaching.
Please tell us about your abundance coaching practice, and explain your personal mission.
My practice is based on teaching people spiritual principles and energy concepts so that they can create the lives they want deliberately and joyfully. My mission is to help raise the awareness of my clients' personal power to create lives filled with freedom, wealth and bliss.
What is your background and what lead you to this field of expertise? I have a traditional background in that I went to college and majored in CIS. I started working in Corporate America but I wasn't fulfilled. I went back to school to study the healing arts and that combined with my long time studies of spiritual principles, spirituality and metaphysics led me where I am today.
How does holistic health apply to your business?
Holistic health is a major component of what I do because you can not achieve a life of joy and meaning if you have not nurtured your mind, body and spirit collectively. I teach people how to clear energy blocks so I have to be familiar with all three areas of their lives in order to determine where they may be out of balance.
What makes your business unique and sets you apart from your competition? What makes me different from my competition is that my goal is to leave people empowered creatively and financially. Many people especially in our present economic climate are looking to create a business or career that is profitable and meaningful. I help them realize they are the source of their abundance not the government or their employer. I spend a lot of time with them helping them identify how they can convert their skills, experiences, knowledge and talents and create money and abundance.
Does your service work for everyone? My service works only for people who believe they deserve a better life and want the guidance and wisdom to create it.
Has the recession impacted your business, and if so, how have you adapted? The recession has helped my business because now more than ever people are looking for a new way, a softer gentler way to live that is in alignment with their values.
Is there anything you wish people knew about your business that they probably don't know?
I want people to know that my business is there to equip them with the knowledge and wisdom they need for the rest of their life. My goal is to bring light to their path so they don't need me very long at all.
What is one of your favorite stories about a customer benefitting from your service?
I had client who was working on building her business, but had difficulty communicating her worth and asking for the terms and rates she was due. After some coaching she really had a shift in her self-perception and it was reflected in her confidence with her clients. She went from being underpaid to actually only doing work with a deposit given upfront. Her business was a reflection of her on self-image, as it changed for the better so did her business.
