It is a new year and many are ready to go on a good detox program. One popular question the herbalist gets is:

What is an easy, cheap detox program for the new year?

Here are some suggestions for natural programs to cleanse and detox the system. Keep in mind, 90% of diseases begin in the colon and because of the Standard American Diet (SAD); it is good to detox the system every few months. America loves fast foods, cheese and other mucous causing foods, along with processed foods that clog the colon, causing allergies, eczema, acne, headaches and more. Turn over to a more wholesome diet and check out these suggested natural programs to flush the system of harden fecal matter, mucous, parasites and gas. A short period cleanse is a good start for a detox. A full cleanse needs to last at least 90 days. People have found these types of detox programs improve the skin, energy, high blood pressure, diabetes and more. Think about it, we change the oil in our cars, along with replacing the filters, we de-worm our pets so let’s work on our bodies in the New Year.

1. CleanStart – A 28 day pre-packed colon cleanse program offered by Nature Sunshine products. This product has a blend of bentonite, chlorophyll and fiber in a powder form that you add to your favorite, healthy juice. You take one packet in the morning and another in the evening, along with your natural herbal laxative to move the built up waste.

2. Liver Cleanse – A herbal blend Nature Sunshine offers to detoxify and nourish the liver which is important in weight-loss. A clogged liver slows down the weight loss program.
