Assuming that:
1. you love both your mothers (the one you call "Mom," and Mother Earth),
2. with the tough economic situation, money is something you don't have a lot of,
3. you're not the crafty type,
4. you love to shop Seattle, but haven't found just the right gift,
we've got ten great gifts for $10 or less that you can buy online and that both your mothers will appreciate. As a bonus, buying some of the gifts we list benefit great non-profits.
And remember that just because you're purchasing something inexpensive, doesn't mean it can't have meaning. One way to up any gift's value, is to personalize it. Maybe the personalization is in a poem you write to accompany it, in the way you wrap it using something sentimental, or by adding your personal touch to the gift itself.

Fabulous ideas, I especially love the owl pin! Another idea-for free - go for walk in nature (without your mom first) and find a space where you can bring her for a picnic or just some reflective time. Next, "decorate" the space just for her, set up some sitting logs, maybe a circle of stones with freshly picked wild flowers in a glass jar in the middle, a little moss rug if you're really savvy, etc. Then bring her for a surprise when you arrive at the temporary oasis you've made. Now you're really honoring mom and "mother earth" at the same time! Thanks Corey and Lynn for the article, I'm hoping to see more like this from the Examiner!
Fabulous little gift guide, love the owl it is so cute and I would love the sketch journal
Wonderful, affordable ideas! Funny, my cousin just called me for help in finding online Mother's Day ideas, and I was able to steer her to this article. She asked for ideas that were "less than $15.00," and I was able to beat that with the bonus of being earth-friendly ! Thanks a lot!
