July 21st is National Junk Food Day. Although health care providers, nutritionists and many parents may not agree, National Junk Food Day has to be one of the best days ever! From greasy burgers, spicy nachos and gooey glazed donuts to chips-n-dips, sweet jelly beans and cool ice cream, junk food not only tastes mighty good, it can be comforting food too.
Since this day comes just once a year, go ahead and splurge. However, tomorrow you’ll have to double up on your fruits, veggies and exercise routine!
