Rapper Guru has successfully made it through surgery. As a reminder, he suffered a massive heart attack recently, that left him in a coma. He had surgery on Tuesday (March 2) and despite rumors, is alive and well. The doctors say that the operation went smoothly and that they expect Guru to make a full recovery from everything. Guru himself felt well enough to release a statement saying that he is doing fine, just feeling weak. Also, that he and his family greatly appreciate all the love and positive wishes from the fans and such. And they would like the prayers and things to continue, as Guru works on recovering. However, they are also asking for privacy during this time. Everyone feels it's best that Guru is as relaxed and comfortable as possible. On another note, due to all the rumors about Guru dying and so on, the rapper has taken some measures to ensure only accurate info is released from here on out. He is giving info as far as updates and things of that nature, to his partner Solar. It has been stressed that Solar will be the ONLY person who has the right info about Guru.
