Orlando Magic's shooting guard, J.J. Redick has decided to add rapper to his resume of things that he can do. He's part of a supposed super rap group, that has no name as of yet. Redick and his group plan to release a single before the year is out, called, "Waste Management." At the moment, they have the song's hook and first verse all done. Redick says that the group isn't being too serious about things and that when fans hear them rhyme, they will get what the group is all about right away. Also, the group is currently working on a whole album and trying to get that whole name issue fixed. Redick is hopeful, he says they have a few group name ideas on the table as we speak. Those name ideas include: Sub-par, Afterthought, and No - "Profits."

Redick is hoping to drop the single right before the new year rolls in, but that's proving to be a little difficult with the NBA season kicking back up. This will put Redick in a league with some of the heavyweights of his craft. Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Ron Artest, among others, are all basketball players who attempted some time in the rap game at one point or another. No further info is available at this time, I'll keep my eyes peeled for that single.
