On July 18, local hip hop artists competed at JazzBones for an opportunity to move forward in the process and potentially win a $100,000 production deal with Young Jeezy and Corporate Thug Entertainment's official DJ, DJ Farenheit.
The show is currently in it's second season, and local hip hop artists must first pass the initial audition and then showcase locally before being filmed. After the filming process, the finals will be held in Miami, Florida in October or November 2010. According to Audrey Angry Cloud of Angry Cloud Promotions, "There will be 5-20 finalists in each city and one overall winner. All finalists will be apart of the reality show. The finalists of season 1 will compete with the finalists of Season 2 in order to determine the final winner."
On August 1, local finalists such as $krilla, AKA, and Mysta Mysta Smooth will perform for the showcase at JazzBones. Presale tickets are $3 and can be purchased from the finalists or from JazzBones. Tickets will also be available at the door for $5.
