Thomas Marasciullo filled a copyright infringement lawsuit in federal court against Lil Wayne, Birdman, Cash Money records and multiple distribution outlets for using his material on two records and a total of nine tracks.
Thomas claims Cash Money Records had him cut some mafia like "Italian-styled" spoken word recordings" in 2006. Marasciullos says his recordings were used with out permission or compensation for the "Like Father, Like Son" album. The album eventually went gold and contained several pieces he copyrighted wrote and recorded. Thomas also did work for Birdmans "Five Star Stunna".
Marasciullos daughter discovered his work was being used while attempting to purchase a ring-tone version of the Aretha Franklin song by the same name. Marasciullos son is also involved in the case when he was fired as engineer for Cash Money Records and marasiullos began to demand payment.
Looks like the long year is starting early for Lil Wayne.
