If you weren’t at Bobby Ray’s Smith’s Olde Bar show back in December, you really missed out. Good news: Whynatte is doing it again. Bobby Ray is back this Thursday with Yelawolf and CyHi da Prynce. Last time, Bobby Ray rocked out with his mixtape hits and his current single, “Nothin’ On You” which is holding the number 10 spot on iTunes in the U.S. His first full album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray is dropping April, 27.
Currently, the artist also known as B.o.B. is on the Steppin’ Lasers tour with Lupe Fiasco. Unfortunately, there are no stops with Lupe in Atlanta, so if you want to see Bobby Ray, you’ve got to make it out to Smith’s on Thursday.
Fans of Bobby Ray can also look forward to performances from emerging talents Yelawolf from Gadsden, Alabama and Stone Mountain, Georgia’s, CyHi da Prynce. Yelawolf is breaking barriers with rock-tinged Southern rap songs like “Kickin’.”
CyHi da Prynce first got some shine by having his mixtape posted on Kanye West’s blog.
The rising young rapper appeared last Saturday with Greg Street to perform during the intermission of the live art show, Paint, Sketch or Draw…Blood!
CyHi da Prynce is also featured on Yelawolf’s single, “I Wish.”
See Whynatte presents B.o.B and Yelawolf this Thursday, March 11. Doors open at 8p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance; $18 the day of the show.
