Now we know that President Barack Obama prefers Jay-Z and dislikes the material aspect of hip hop. He mentions how smart and insightful hip hop is and how it can be used as an educational tool. Take it in, savor this moment - our new President has killer music taste.
On this historic day in America, a feeling of hope and encouragement is upon us. A sense of commitment to our country, people and community is palpable. With so many ways to generate change, what are you going to do?
Passion begets passion. If hip hop is your passion, perhaps there's a way you can use your love to better Denver and its people. As President Barack Obama so eloquently states in this video,
"Hip hop is not just a mirror of what is, it should also be a reflection of what can be."
Emulate the feeling you have today and inspire Denver through music.

At the same time, hip-hop shouldn't be just conscious postive preaching. I like hip-hop thats gutter and materialistic as much as the political positive stuff. Hip-Hop should be about life and life ain't always pretty. He's the president so he can't say these things, but he really bumps UGK every morning LOL
hahaha @ lazy eyez... i pegged him as more of a weezy fan, myself.
