As the U.S. makes giant strides in global awareness and competitiveness, there is an added urgency to sensitize the citizenry on the concept of global mindset as a new imperative for cooperation and learning.
In the realm of global mindset, individuals and organizations seek to harness those attributes that span different social and cultural systems to create a synthesis of ideas and goals. In this regard, openness and awareness of diversity across cultures and markets guides agenda setting, leadership, and development imperatives.
In our community, a conference of academicians, business leaders, community leaders, students, local and state government bureaucrats, elected officials, and Riverside residents will be convened this fall sponsored by the School of Management, University of Riverside.
This conference titled “Global Mindset Development in Leadership and Management” will run from September 24-25, 2010 in Riverside, CA.
