Cody Zeller is one of the top prospects in the state of Indiana. The 6-foot-10, 200 pound power forward is attracting attention from several of the nations top programs, including Indiana. I caught up with Zeller at the Hoopsfest in Louisville, Ky.
Johnston: How is the recruiting process going?
Zeller: I have offers from Indiana, Purdue, Butler and Iowa. There are a lot more showing interest. Right now I'm just trying to figure out who's interested and trying to get to know the coaches.
Johnston: How are things going with IU?
Zeller: It's the same as any other college. I'm just trying to get to know the coaches.
Johnston: You were at IU recently. How did that go?
Zeller: I went over there and I just played some pick up games. It was fun.
Johnston: Are you planning on taking any visits?
Zeller: I went to the Indiana Elite camp. I'll probably try and take some visits in August when the AAU season slows down.
Johnston: Your brother Luke played at Notre Dame and your brother Tyler plays for North Carolina. Would those schools have an advantage?
Zeller: No, wouldn't say those schools have an advantage. I've seen both of those schools and I like them but I wouldn't say they have an advantage.
Johnston: Have your brothers helped you with this process?
Zeller: They have. I went on most of their recruiting visits with them, so I know how it goes. Having them around helps a lot.
Johnston: What are coaches telling you they like about your game?
Zeller: They like the fact that I work hard. I shoot decent for a big man. Some big men just stat in the post but I try and step out every once in a while.
Johnston: What are you working on this summer?
Zeller: I'm trying to get stronger. That will help my whole game. I'm also working on my outside shot. That would be a big weapon if I could get that down.

Comments
I'm not sure IU wouldn't be better off with another inside prospect. Zeller might and up being very good (his brothers weren't) but I'm afraid he might be more of a Purdue level talent.
