The final four games to decide champions in all four Iowa classes will go down tonight at Harlan Rogers Park in Fort Dodge.
The best game of the four will definitely be in Class 3A where No. 1 and undefeated Clear Creek-Amana will face No. 3 and one-loss Carlisle.
Waukee's win over West Des Moines Valley was its first victory over the Tigers since the Warriors joined the CIML in 2006. The extra-inning win came on a walk-off home run in the eighth inning.
In Class 1A, Earlham will be in its first-ever softball final. The unranked Cardinals defeated No. 1 Woodbury Central in the first round and then took out No. 5 Akron-Westfield in the semifinals yesterday. To win the title, Earlham must now take down No. 2 Newell-Fonda tonight.
The Class 2A final will feature No. 2 Emmetsburg and No. 5 BCLUW. Waukee is ranked No. 5 in Class 4A and the Warriors will play an unranked Johnston Dragons team in the finals tonight.
