Jon Scheyer, who led the Duke Blue Devils to the NCAA championship this past year, might be sitting a while after suffering a laceration to the right eye during a summer league game with the Miami Heat.
As it was reported here, despite the injury, Miami Coach Erik Spoelstra said he liked what he saw from Scheyer.
It was reported by David Kaplan of the Chicago Tribune that Jim Scheyer, Jon’s father, said he has to wait until the swelling goes down until he can be evaluated. They are hoping he can do some light work outs next week.
