Jacob Hurwith began his journalistic career at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He wrote for the award-winning Daily Illini Newspaper and Illio Yearbook, where he worked on stories such as the first-ever Champaign marathon. He has also profiled various athletes and covered numerous Fighting Illini teams. Now that Jacob has graduated, he is looking to advance his career by writing sports stories for various publications through out the Chicagoland area.
