Vincente Scott was born in Philadelphia and educated in the public schools and Cheyney State College. He received his MA in Communications from Georgia State University. For ten years he was a research fellow at the Institute of Cultural Affairs based in Chicago. He has two beautiful daughters. Currently, he and his wife live in the Atlanta area where he teaches English at a local college.
