Hasunoe Keroppi (which means "on top of the lilypad" in Japanese!) was born in Donut Pond of Sanriotown on July 10. Sanrio officially introduced him to the world in 1987, which makes him 22 years old this Friday!
Keroppi is a very active and fun-loving frog; he is actually the most popular frog in all of Donut Pond! He is extremely optimistic and never lets anything get him down. His main talents are swimming and singing. He lives with his parents and brother and sister (together they are frog triplets) in Kerokero House overseeing Donut Pond.
I know a lot of Sanrio fans miss Keroppi and are wondering where happened to him and some of the other older characters. Don't worry, they have not been discontinued! Sanrio does not ever discontinue characters (this used to be on the FAQs page of their old website), so you'll still be able to see your old favorites.
Now, what better way to celebrate Keroppi's birthday than by playing this cute new game from SanrioTown, KeroKeroKeroppi Super Engineer Game?! Here's the description:

Keroppi's back! Check out Sanrio stores. They were in Sanrio stores during back to school this year and I heard they'll also be available for the holidays! Yeah! You might be able to find them on www.sanrio.com too.
