3rd Annual World Breastfeeding Week Walk and Celebration in Broomfield

La Leche League of Broomfield is hosting a family event to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week.  

Grab the kids and head over to the Broomfield County Commons Park (13200 Sheridan Blvd, Broomfield) on Saturday, July 31st. This event is free.

There will be a 5K walk at 8:30 and a 2K walk at 9. Festivities will go on till noon with a bouncy house, a silent auction, various family friendly vendors, music and more.

World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated in over 120 countries around the world. The 2010 theme is Breastfeeding - The Baby Friendly Way. This theme recognizes the importance of supporting mothers from the beginning of their breastfeeding experience so they can be successful in achieving their goal to breastfeed their babies.
