Just a few of the seasonings in Chef Tim Luym's arsenal
After three years Poleng Lounge, led by talented Chef Timothy Luym, has not lost its cool. It’s still the best spot for pan-Asian small plates, big flavors-think street food with finess, exotic drinks, warm caring service, and a heck of a lot of fun.
The Vibe:
Although always unself-consciously hip, the vibe changes throughout the day. Stop in late afternoon for a zen pot of premium tea by the limestone waterfall break, or perhaps a glass of wine in front of the fireplace or join the DJ party room with late night dining offered to 1 AM.
Drink this:
No need to get shots to protect against their ”Yellow Fever”, a delicate blend of cucumber, lychee, and Sake infused Vodka.
Waitstaff Faves:
Guaranteed crowd pleasers are the Crispy Adobo Wings and Long Life Garlic Crab Noodles.
Healthy Picks:
The Heirloom Tomato Poke, with its tangle of colorful tomatoes and spicy dressing, was a successful healthy riff on the standard. Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Cups, while a standard on many menus reaches new heights here. ( heat-wimps should request mild)
Don't Miss:
The greaseless clean flavors of the elegantly prepared Thai Basil Eggplant.
Don't Bother:
Ok….let the outraged emails start rolling in, but I have to say that my socks were not blown off by the Crab Noodles-- too soft and bland for me.
Good Deal: Great happy hour deals from 4-6:30
Wrap Up:
This a fun spot for crowds to order a bunch of plates to share. It’s also the perfect compromise when you want to eat and she wants to dance and neither of you want to move the car.

What kind of rating is this dumb "Potato" rating ?
We are not in a Farm in Idaho are we Janice ?
Creativity is dead nowadays :(
C'mon now. I think the potato rating is fun! I am sick of stars, forks
and that kind of thing. Apparently, you have no affinity for farmers,
Idaho or the spud. Or maybe it's simply you weren't victorious playing
the childhood game...one potato, two potato, three potato, four....
