Dr. Benjamin S. Weeks earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut in 1988 where he developed nutritional approaches to prevent birth defects. Following a Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and a position of Research Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Weeks joined the faculty at Adelphi University where he continues to develop his research program in nutritional treatment of neurologic and immunologic diseases. His contributions to the field include two published books on AIDS and Microbiology and one in preparation on Cancer Biology. Dr Weeks has also authored over 70 peer-reviewed original research manuscripts and has presented his work at National and International scientific conferences as well as on radio shows and he holds positions on the editorial board of "Medical Science Monitor" and "Modern Aspects of Immunobiology".
