Autopsy bombshell: Michael Jackson healthy before death

In an autopsy bombshell, singer Michael Jackson, who was dogged
by so many rumors of ill health, and often appeared outwardly frail,
was basically healthy at the time of his death, this according a report
from the Associated Press. AP Photo: Joel Ryan

Singer Michael Jackson may have looked frail, and his body riddled with injection marks, surgical scars and cosmetic tattoos, but autopsy results show that the man known as the 'King of Pop' was basically a healthy 50-year old man at the time of his death, according to reports by The Associated Press.

AP quotes the report from the Los Angeles County coroner as stating that Jackson's weighed 136 pounds at the time he died, within in the acceptable range for his 5-foot-9 inch height. Jackson's heart appeared strong and healthy, with no signs of damage or arterial blockage. His kidneys and most other major organs were also healthy.

Jackson did show some signs of health problems, including arthritis in the lower spine and some fingers, and light plaque buildup in his leg arteries. Most problematic for the pop star was the fact that his lungs showed chronic inflammation and reduced capacity, which may have resulted in general shortness of breath. However, the lung problem was not serious enough cause or contribute to Jackson's death, according the AP.

AP showed a copy of Jackson's autopsy results to Dr. Zeev Kain, chairman of the anesthesiology department at the University of California, Irvine, who said that Jackson's "overall health was fine...The results are within normal limits."

Just goes to show us that all the previous reports were just negative speculation aimed at destroying Michael's legacy, or at least trying to weaken it. Many people do not keep up with the internet news and they will remember the first negative reports they heard, which were plenty on television. The power of the press is really huge, and in Michael Jackson's case, the press really "trashed" him in his lifetime and even in death. I hope Dr. Murray goes to prison, and I wish the rabbi would go with him. Unscrupulous guys to say the least.
