Dr. Phil Hopkins, Jr. comes from a unique background that includes both the arts and sciences. He taught college level Humanities and World Mythology for nearly a decade at Valencia Community College in Orlando, Florida and co-authored the textbook Study of Story with Dr. Carole Law Trachy. In 2001, Dr. Hopkins returned to school to "take the science and math classes I swore to my undergraduate advisors I'd never need in my life" and pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, which he received from Campbell University in North Carolina in 2006. As pharmacist and educator it is his goal to help patients learn more about medicine and their own health, without the sugarcoating and misinformation so often found in the mainstream press.
