Free immunizations are available to uninsured or underinsured post-secondary students over the age of 18 from Olmsted County Public Health Services. Student ID's are required to receive a free vaccination. Immunization costs for uninsured or underinsured adults who are not enrolled in post-secondary classes is $12, based on a sliding fee scale.
The following free immunizations are being financed for post-secondary students by ARRA stimulus funds for a period of one year.
* Tetanus Diphtheria Pertussis (Tdap)
* Pneumonia (PPSV)
* Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
* MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
* Hepatitis A
* Hepatitis B
* Chickenpox
It is not necessary to schedule appointments for immunizations. The walk-in immunization clinics, located at the Public Health Services facility on 2100 Campus Drive SE in Rochester, are available on:
* Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
* Monday through Friday: 1:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
