August 15th is National Relaxation Day !
National Relaxation Day was first created over twenty years ago to promote leisure and wellness activities.
Relaxation has been defined as refreshment of body and mind and having a whole day to celebrate it is a blessing. Relaxation can mean many things to different people; but categorizing what is and isn't relaxing is too stressful. So, RELAX and do whatever it takes to refresh your mind, body and soul.
Here are a few ideas:
- Call a long lost friend, just to say hello.
- Take a leisure walk, enjoy the sights and smells of the outdoors.
- Have a great and healthy meal.
- Have a cool refreshing drink
- Take a nap.
- Watch the clouds and daydream.
- Anything that will put your mind, body and soul at ease.
