Those in the Tampa Bay are familiar with Tiger Woods’ 15th alleged mistress Devon James. What they may not be aware of, however, is the fact that she has just filed a paternity suit against the disgraced golfer alleging paternity of her 9-year-old son. Does Tiger Woos have a love child? No stranger to the strip club scene, Devon James is a former porn star and was outed as Tiger’s mistress on another Tampa Bay staple: Bubba the Love Sponge.
On June 17, 2010, Devon James (whose real name is Melinda Brinling or Melinda Jannette as she uses both) filed paternity papers in Manatee County, Florida. Melinda’s son’s name is Austin Brinling and he lives with his grandmother: Sandra Brinling. Sandra Brinling claims that her daughter is a pathological liar and that a DNA test taken in 2002 proved that Tiger Woods was not Austin’s father.
Devon James/Melinda Jannette disagrees and says that there never was a 2002 DNA test and is requesting the court to order Tiger Woods to take one. Melinda Jannette seeks to have the court name Tiger Woods as Austin’s legal father.
Devon James claimed to have a 2 ½ year affair with Tiger Woods. She says that she was involved with Tiger and became pregnant before Tiger married Elin Woods.
