Could it be there's a Madeira Beach Monster?
Russ Sittloh claims a creature inhabits the canals around Crystal Island in Madeira Beach. He calls it Normandy Nessie.
Sittloh and his wife, Betty, say they’ve seen the beast four times from their waterfront home.
At first he thought it might be a big python, but recently he saw a fin. He says the animal is over 30 feet long and 15 inches in diameter.
Friends and neighbors laughed.
Sittloh invested in a surveillance camera and uploaded images to the Internet. The sightings have since supposedly gone viral.
