Government can consume and redistribute wealth yet it cannot create it.
Administrations which lowered taxes have proven that it generates not only a better economy, but increased revenue for both the state and fed. The economies were jolted, unemployment was decreased, and the market sang.

A massive government parasite has drained the nation of it's wealth yet the parasite wants more. Health care and cap-and-trade lie ahead in a nation that is beyond broke.
Before anyone attacks Reagan or Bush, the above focus was on JFK. Kennedy created 'business friendly' policies. He understood the consequences of over-burdening the nation's producers.
