The 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball tournament brackets are out. In the 2010 NCAA Women's Tournament bracket, the Gonzaga women will be a seventh seed in the Sacramento bracket. This means that Gonzaga will play in Seattle, Washington for their first game, and allow fans the opportunity to travel and see them. The first 2010 NCAA Tournament game for the Gonzaga Bulldogs will be on Saturday, March 20th starting at 7:30 p.m. PST.

The 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball tournament brackets weren't exactly kind to Gonzaga though, as they first have to play North Carolina from the ACC. If they make it to the second round game, they will most likely take on second seeded Texas A&M. Though Texas A&M is a No. 2 seed, they are the only team that has beaten No. 1 seed Nebraska, which was undefeated until the Big 12 Conference Championship. The top team in the Sacramento bracket is Stanford, which again proved to be the beast of the Pac-10 Conference, and only lost a single game to Connecticut.

Is there any team that can stop the Connecticut Huskies this season? They bring the longest winning streak in women's college basketball history into this tournament, but several schools would love a chance to take them down. Gonzaga's potential chance would come if they could make it to the Final Four, where they would play Connecticut in one of the semifinal games. The 2010 NCAA Women's Tournament brackets are out, and play is set to begin on Saturday and Sunday in all the brackets.

To Swishman: The second round is in the same city as the first round. The second round games for each team take place two days after the first game (teams playing on the 20th will play on the 22nd in same city if they win).
