German Shepherd Dog, Tara at 11 months old (photo jdean2009)
Juno, the mother of 11 German Shepherd puppies was found by animal control a day after having given birth, in a deserted house in San Diego County.
The Southern California German Shepherd Rescue group took Juno and her puppies in and provide them a temporary home, until they can be adopted. They decided to put up a webcam, so that fellow rescuers could watch and were surprised when they found out that many other people were watching the live puppy antics, too.
When June was found she was hungry and full of ticks and fleas, but thanks to the GSD rescue group, she is recovering nicely.
Her puppies are named:
Orange = Lexie
Pink = Avia
Red = Scarlett ?
Yellow = Maddie
Lime Green = Jedi
Purple = Venus
Blue = Bono
Dark blue = Donovan
Kelly green = Kelly ?
White = Bella ?
Hot pink = Ivy
If you would like to see the puppies you can watch them here.
Also, consider making a donation to this wonderful organization.
You can also see Juno and the puppies live as they will be appearing at the Barktober Fest on October 18th.
