Bradley Lockhart begged for his daughter Shaniya Davis’ safe return this morning on the Today Show; but it was too late, the body of Shaniya Davis was found around 1 pm Monday. 200 people had been searching for the body in North Carolina after the police indicated that they had reliable information that Shaniya Davis was dead.
Searchers focused their search on the land near a specific roadway, because "reliable information received that the body of Shaniya Davis may have been dumped there," a police statement said.

Police in North Carolina charged, Antoinette Nicole Davis (Shaniya’s mother) with human trafficking, felony child abuse, prostitution and filing a false police report on Saturday. Shaniya Davis was missing since Tuesday, November 10 when her mother reported her missing from their mobile park home.
A hotel surveillance video identified Mario Andrette McNeill as the man who kidnapped Shaniya and took her into a hotel room. McNeill has been charged with first degree kidnapping and questioned by police. McNeill, 29 is the ex-boyfriend of Antoinette Nicole Davis’ sister.
Human trafficking is a growing problem around the country, including Utah. It is one of the top three most profitable hidden industries. The Utah Human Trafficking task force includes two agencies that are funded through the US Dept of Justice. They support efforts to investigate and prosecute cases, and help victims, according to the FBI office in Salt Lake City.

What the HELL was going through this woman's head, to ask a father of a missing child what he thinks of her mother being arrested for pandering her?
I am sorry for your loss, but you never give your kid away to a person like that. She didn't deserve a chance. Shaniya was more important than giving the mother a chance.

My heart goes out to the Father and Aunt for this tragedy. As a Father myself I can only feel this nightmare will never end for the Father who will for the rest of his life go over why he let his daughter go to this individual.
I won't grace her by identifying her as a mother nor a woman. She is simply dark, evil incarnate.
I will pray and pray and pray for this wonderful little girl and all the other helpless victims.
I could only imagine the sick and twisted things that this little girl went through in that hotel room and before her death. Lord please wrap your arms around her loved ones

You know I am not a typically mean person but I don't believe that our country has strict enough punishments for people like this woman( who calls herself a mother.) they honestly need to find a punishment that fits the crime. When are we Mothers and Women going to stand up to this !!!! Every day there is a child or woman killed or missing and what are we doing about it. These child molesters should be castrated instead of getting Goverment help.
