Little League World Series 2009 Wednesday Japan vs Mexico LLWS game

The Little League World Series 2009 baseball semi-finals started today in South Williamsport, PA with Chiba City, Japan (2-1) vs Reynosa, Mexico (3-0) teams competing against each other. 

Mexico was first on the score board with Raul Rojas hitting a 2 run home run.  Raymundo Berrones had a base hit that brought in another run.  Allan Willburn hit a 2 run double to put the score at 0-5 at the end of the first inning. 

In the second inning, Mexico stole home for one run making the score 6-0 Mexico. 

Mexico’s offensive was incredible; Japan couldn’t make a move and the next 3 innings were quiet.  Towards the end of the 5th inning, Mexico’s pitcher Berrones hit the 85 pitch max, but had thrown 26 balls, 57 strikes, had 10 strike outs.

Final score 6-0 Mexico

And with that the Chiba City, Japan team has been eliminated from the 2009 Little League World Series of baseball.

    Actually this year Japan's team does suck. Mexico is a power house and I don't think China will last against them. But in the finals I think the US will take it. But as long as CALIFORNIA or MEXICO wins then I'm Happy!
    WOOOOOOOOO finally got a some Hispanic players representing SO CAL!!!!!!!!
