Elizabeth Smart testified this morning that she was raped 3 or 4 times daily by kidnapper

For the first time, Elizabeth Smart took the stand and gave testimony this morning to a Salt Lake City courtroom in Brian David Mitchell’s competency hearing.  Smart disappeared in 2002 and was found about a year later.  Brian David Mitchell has given the appearance over the past few months that he is crazy and will be unable to stand trial, but Elizabeth Smart’s testimony shows another size…a side of Mitchell who knew exactly what he was doing. 

Elizabeth Smart said that she tied to a pole and raped 3 or 4 times a day by Brian David Mitchell and that his wife was there during the entire ordeal. 

Elizabeth Smart's case is alarming similiar to Jaycee Dugard (pictured below).  Both girls were kidnapped young, held against their will, and raped repeatedly by their kidnappers.
