Black Friday was better than expected in 2009 retail sales, and many retailers are continuing those sales today, during Black Saturday. Many stores are offering these deals online and in the stores on Black Saturday.
"Retailers came out swinging for Black Friday, offering some of the holiday season's lowest prices on electronics, appliances, apparel and toys," said Tracy Mullin, president of the NRF, an industry trade group, in a statement. "Budget-focused shoppers seemed to be pleasantly surprised with post-Thanksgiving deals, which many retailers will extend into Saturday and even Sunday."
Target Black Saturday sales include: The TomTom XL 340 Navigation System for $97. Target also has a Westinghouse 32” 720p, LCD HDTV for $246, and a Nikon Cool Pix S203 digital camera for $88.00.
Walmart Black Saturday sales include: HDTV feature Samsung HDTVs including 32" LCD HDTV for $398, 46" 1080P LCD HDTV for $848, a 42" 720P Plasma HDTV for $548 and a 50" 720P Plasma HDTV selling for $698. A Samsung Blu Ray Disc Player is also available for just $148.
Amazon Black Saturday deals: Toshiba Satellite L505-S5993 TruBrite 15.6-Inch Grey/Black Laptop - 2 Hours 25 Minutes of Battery Life for $549. Nikon Coolpix S620 12.2MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD for $149.99.
Best Buy has sales Saturday and Sunday that include: Samsung 46" class 1080p LCD HDTV for $999.99. Best Buy also has an HP Pavilion Laptop with Intel® Pentium® Processor for $499.99. They also have a Garmin - nüvi 205W Portable GPS for $99.99.
