Shaniya Davis is 5-years-old, 3 feet tall, 40 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, thin with a scar on her foot. She was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and pink underwear last Tuesday.
Over the Weekend:
"Reliable information" has been offered that led authorities south of Sanford to Walker Road near N.C. 87. What they are searching for is Shaniya's body since she was said to have been "dumped" at that location. This location in Lee County is used by hunters. This is a very thick leafy area with thick patches of woods that align the area.
Thursday thru Sunday:
Mario Andrette McNeill, 29, has not been willing with all the information. However, has supplied the police with some. Mario McNeill has been arrested on first-degree kidnapping charges, he admitted to abducting Shaniya Davis. However, the mother of Shaniya Davis, Antoinette Nicole Davis, told police officers that she placed her daughter on a couch at 5:30 a.m. but when she checked on her, Shaniya was gone. Antoinette Davis was arrested days later for human trafficking, felony child abuse involving prostitution, filing a false police report amongst interfering with a police investigation. Both face bail set for $51,000.
Clarence Coe was charged one day, released the next. His name has been cleared of any involvement.
Monday:
As approximately 250 people search along roadside, many remain on the look out for Shaniya in case she is not found within that Lee County location. However, you can help the search if you are within the vicinity. Volunteer contact number (910) 433-1820 has gotten so many calls that the authorities posted a Shaniya search volunteer e-mail address for potential volunteers. Simply e-mail your name and contact information to Shaniyavolunteer@ci.fay.nc.us.
North Carolina is pulling together in hopes that the next headline would read Shaniya Davis Found.
An advisory through the State Highway Patrol began to surface. The advisory targeted a 60-year-old man driving a blue Toyota. No other details followed other than he may be found near Raeford Road and Cliffdale Road.
The advisory surrounds information of a 60-year-old man, blue Toyota and many questions to fill as this man may have been with Shaniya Davis after her disappearance.
Monday Afternoon:
It has not been released whether the advisory for the unidentified 60-year-old man has been called off.

UPDATE: At 4:30 p.m. Monday the Fayetteville police department released information that the body will be moved to a location where cause of death can be determined. It was not a tip that led police to the wooded area, but from a "reliable" source. The body found has not yet been officially identified as Shaniya Davis. Also, more information should come unfold within the next couple of days.

for the mother she is going to burn in hell n i hope she gets broom ------! in prison as for the man I would love to see him put on death road for this crime but then again he would be kept away from the other prisoners if he was to get death road so i am hoping he will get life out of this unforgetable crime so he can get whats coming to him behind bars! He better pray but i dont see that helping much that he donts end up on a cell block with crocked guards!
