World Cup Finals Google Doodle
The World Cup Finals is celebrated with a Google Doodle honoring Spain vs Netherlands game that starts at 2:30pm on July 11. Hover your mouse over today's doodle and it reads, "FIFA 2010 World Cup Final."
It's a big day for Soccer fans around the world. Live television coverage won't be the only way fans can watch World Cup Final. Google Doodles are popular on holidays, during sports events such as the Olympics and on birthdays of historical figures. In May, the winners of the annual Doodle for Google contest produced some local pride here in Rhode Island.
