Federal government agencies closed Monday: OPM says D.C. snow day

Snow Cripples Washington D.C.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management announced that Federal Government offices in Washington D.C. will be closing tomorrow, Monday, Dec. 21st 2009. Nonemergency employees will be let off the hook to stay home for a bad weather snow day, due to the massive snow storm that crippled the northeast and canceled flights from Dulles and Reagan Airports all the way to Providence and Boston.

I know this posting is old but WOW! Lazy...people who aren't used to that type of weather are a danger to themselves. And if objection is in order...better safe than sorry right? Also forgot to mention DC has AWESOME mass transit to where buses and the rail are outside everyones houses right next to the mailbox. =) Doesn't affect you anyways, just sounds like jealousy. I had a bad day so I'm taking it out on you =) take care
